VIDENT iAuto 702 Pro OBD2 service reset tool allows user to free update online for 3 years so that it can access to newer car models. This article is available with VIDENT iAuto702 Pro update online procedure.

Before updating VIDENT iAuto702 Pro, it needs to create an account and add your device to the account.
- How to create a Vident account and register Vident iAuto702?
Option 1: can be done through the update software iScanzilla (In the package you can find a disc preloaded with iScanzilla)
Option 2: can be done through the through the official site: www.videnttech.com
1) Click on Support & Service>Update Client and Manuals page

Find out iAuto702 Pro and click on it to download the latest version
of iScanzilla.
2). The file downloaded will be a compressed zip file. Open that file and run the installer inside it.
3) Once installed, open the iScanzilla software, click on the Register button and complete the registration
form to create your user account.
In the 2nd method:
You can click the “Sign Up” button on the right upper side of our website to create an user
account.
- How to add Vident iAuto702 Pro to the account?
Note: For new user of Vident iAuto702 Pro, when you insert TF card into computer and run iScanzilla, registration is automatically finished.
1). For user who already have one iAuto702 Pro registered, please register as follows:
To register the tool, you will need the tool’s Serial Number and ‘Register Password’.
You can find these on the tool by selecting Setup > About.
Or you can check the Password Paper in the package.
When logging into iScanzilla, click on the ‘Register Products’ icon.
2). On the ‘S/N Registration’ tab, put a tick in the box marked ‘001’ then enter the iAuto702 Pro serial number and password, and click on “Submit”.
3). A confirmation box should be shown confirming successful registration.
In the 2nd method:
you can register iAuto702 Pro in the member center when logged in on the official site.
- How to upgrade Vident iAuto702 Pro?
1). Close the iScanzilla software, remove the TF card from your iAuto702 Pro (making sure the tool is turned off first!) and connect it to the PC via an TF card reader.
2). Once Windows has detected the TF card, run the iScanzilla software and login again. click the ‘My Updates’ button. After a few seconds, a list of the available software updates will appear.
Ensure that the correct serial number is displayed in the drop-down list.
3). Click the Update button to download and install available updates.
Vident iAuto 702 Pro Scan Tool update time:
It depends on what items you choose to update, if you update all, it will spend 30 minutes to 1 hour. If you only select one item like oil service reset, it will be quick.
Please note:
Once the update has completed, don’t forget to ‘safely remove’ the SD card in Windows before unplugging it, to avoid the possibility of data corruption.
What will happen if your free updates ran out?
If your free updates ran out, Vident iAuto702 Pro will continue to function – it will not ‘time out’ – but you will no longer be able to access the update servers. Should you wish to continue updating your tool, you will need to purchase an update package (50usd per year after 3-year free update).
